What DAMAC is known for
DAMAC's master communities include DAMAC Hills, built around a golf course, and DAMAC Hills 2, a larger community further from the centre with many townhouses. Researching a DAMAC project
DAMAC sells much of its stock off-plan, so the off-plan due diligence checklist applies. Check the project and escrow account on Dubai REST. Look at completed DAMAC buildings in the same area. Note the furnishing or branding terms, and any rental programme terms in the SPA. Study the payment plan against your cash flow, and check service charges in completed buildings on Mollak.
Who DAMAC communities tend to suit
DAMAC Hills appeals to buyers who want a golf-course setting, with apartments and villas closer to the established centre. DAMAC Hills 2 is generally chosen by families who prioritise space over commuting time. DAMAC Lagoons suits buyers comfortable with a newer community that is still building out. Visit each at the times you would actually travel.

Are DAMAC properties sold mainly off-plan?
A large share of DAMAC's sales are off-plan, though resale units are available in completed buildings and communities. The checks differ, so be clear which you are buying.
How do I check service charges in a DAMAC building?
Ask for the current figure for the building from Mollak and the unit's latest statement. Branded or serviced buildings can carry different cost structures.
