Nakheel's master communities
Nakheel is the master developer of Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Islands. Its villa communities include Jumeirah Islands and Jumeirah Park. Its mixed communities include Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle and Al Furjan. Discovery Gardens and International City are older, more affordable apartment communities.
Nakheel is now part of the Dubai Holding group.
Master developer versus building developer
In communities such as JVC, Nakheel planned the land and infrastructure, and many individual buildings were built by other developers. Quality, management and service charges can vary from one plot to the next. Check the building developer on Dubai REST or the title deed. Look at the building's own record: visit, check the Mollak figures and look at recent DLD transactions.
A wide range of price points
Nakheel's communities run from premium beachfront homes on Palm Jumeirah to some of Dubai's more affordable apartment stock in International City and Discovery Gardens. A Nakheel address on its own therefore tells you little about quality or price. Use our area guides to understand each community's character first.

No. Nakheel is the master developer, but many buildings and hotels were developed by others. Check the developer of the building you are considering.
Is JVC a Nakheel community?
Nakheel is the master developer of Jumeirah Village Circle. Most apartment buildings there were built by a range of private developers.
How do I research a new Nakheel launch?
